When I designed this logo, I had something in my mind to have the same feel as the old school hot rod trademarks of the past. Mooneyes and their iconic googlie eyes; So-Cal Speed Shop and their unmistakable red and white oval; Hurst and their H - Shift pattern branding, and EVERYBODY knows that Clay Smith Woody Woodpecker, Mr. Horsepower! There’s also something to be said of why hot rods always had such appeal. There was something sinister and dangerous feeling about them, outlaw culture for sure. In this regard, I think Jesse James did a great job with his West Coast Choppers design, and I not only tried to incorporate that old roots feel into these, but also that outsider element that’s always been a magnet for me. I hope you dig these T’s! Pick a couple up and wear ‘em out! We promise to make more!
